Recurrent flooding in the Carpentarian region North West of Queensland have caused the mass death of cows, with half a million dying in 2019. The title Sacred Cow refers to the bigger reasons behind this issue that remains unaddressed because of our refusal to make significant changes to agricultural industries that are causing further decline to our environment, resulting in the sacrifice of sentient animal beings.
